This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is built with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor is a NEMA 184 T frame style operating at 1150 RPM. This assembly features premium efficiency ratings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. It utilizes an across the line starting option and a Woods coupler for connection. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard to protect the coupling components.
