This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250 °F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 326 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, connecting to the motor via a Woods coupling and greasable bearings. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
