This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 286JM frame with feet. The motor utilizes a TEFC enclosure and is configured for a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply at 40°C ambient temperatures. It features premium efficiency ratings, meets NEMA standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This configuration uses across the line starting and maintains a PEI of 0.94.
