This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate circulating fluid from the pump shaft. Mechanical sealing consists of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 125 PSI without a wear ring. This unit utilizes center-line discharge for air venting and includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump utilizes a 60 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding on a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
