This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" (102 mm) suction and 3" (76 mm) discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft. The casing is made of cast iron and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM and is compatible with 230-460/60/3 PH power. The motor has a TEFC enclosure and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly features greasable bearings and connects to the motor via a Woods coupling, which is enclosed by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.91.
