This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The internal design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The assembly is powered by a 25 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 284T frame, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. It is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation as viewed from the drive end. The motor utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration and the pump has a PEI value of 0.94.
