This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with a temperature rating of 225 °F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports for suction and discharge connections, as well as a drain port at the bottom.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 213T frame style, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and a 40 °C ambient environment. It features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration has a PEI of 0.94.
