This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing without a wear ring. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a 145 JM frame style with feet and supports a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply using an across-the-line starting method. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
