This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.91. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
