This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing that includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213T NEMA frame. This configuration uses a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor.
