This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor T-frame motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets NEMA standards, utilizes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, and complies with premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
