This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 1 HP Baldor Super E motor in a TEFC enclosure with NEMA frame 145. It is configured for a 230/460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and is EISA compliant. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard.
