This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design facilitates servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It is mounted in a JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and MG1-12.55 requirements. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
