This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. This motor is enclosed in a TEFC housing, configured with an NEMA 213 T frame, and operates on 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. This pump meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
