This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid contact with the pump shaft and includes a replaceable, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features a rear pullout design for servicing and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, plus flush seal line taps to assist with piping alignment and self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is housed in a TEFC enclosure with a 182 JM frame style featuring feet. Electrical configuration includes 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.84. The motor mounts in a standard configuration without a drip cover.
