This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, which is rated for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The pump casing incorporates a bronze wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP motor. It is configured with a NEMA 213T frame and an ODP enclosure. The motor is compatible with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the Baldor motor for across the line starting. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
