This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly supports clean water applications at temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP, TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 215 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91 and is suitable for operation in a 40°C ambient temperature.
