This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supports operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T-Frame with an ODP enclosure. This unit is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It operates using across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.85, with premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55 standards.
