This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting foot and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 6-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps for system maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
