This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This equipment operates at 1750 RPM using a 30 HP WEG motor in a NEMA 286 T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the bearing frame, which contains greasable bearings. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
