This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 30 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a 286 JM frame style with feet and uses an across-the-line starting option. This model features a 40°C ambient temperature rating and an established DOE PEI of 0.92.
