This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame with feet. The motor is an ODP enclosure with a drip cover and operates at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, utilizing across the line starting. The assembly is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets NEMA standards with premium efficiency as per MG1-12.55. It features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump performance is verified by a DOE PEI of 0.94.
