This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover, operating at 3450 RPM. It features a 182 JM motor frame with feet. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes premium efficiency ratings with AEGIS shaft grounding for a 40°C ambient temperature. The rotation is counter-clockwise, and the unit has a PEI of 0.87.
