This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft. The unit uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 324 T frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. The bearing frame includes greasable bearings. This model meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.94.
