This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in reducing piping strain.
The pump is powered by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 286 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and uses CCW rotation. This unit has a Pump Energy Index (PEI) rating of 0.89.
