This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are included at the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP TEFC WEG motor, NEMA frame 182T. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame. The pump is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
