This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The assembly uses a NEMA 145 T-Frame motor with premium efficiency ratings and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for a Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a 40 °C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
