This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor, including a no drip cover, that operates at 1150 RPM. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH. The unit is built on a 254 JM motor frame with feet and supports across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C, and the unit is set for CCW rotation.
