This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration, which protects the pump shaft from contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber components. To assist with maintenance in the field, the unit provides flush seal line taps and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This configuration is rated for 125 PSI operation without a wear ring.
This assembly utilizes a 60 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 200-230V 3PH supply. The DOE PEI rating is 0.45. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
