This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor utilizes a 256 T frame and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base equipped with a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93.
