This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 405T frame. It is configured for 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and includes an across-the-line starting option. The assembly features a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The drive system incorporates greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
