This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for 300°F clean water. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is built in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
