This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, preventing contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment, maintaining an operating pressure rating of 125 PSI.
The motor provides 25 HP at a premium efficiency rating within a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM and including Aegis grounding on a 200-230V 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
