This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and is designed for center-line discharge.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor TEFC premium efficiency motor. It is configured for 460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and utilizes NEMA motor frame 444T. This unit includes an insulated bearing at the NDE, an AEGIS SGR, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. The equipment achieves a PEI value of 0.93.
