This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 182 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.85.
