This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates piping layouts. This pump is rated for clean water applications up to 250°F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a JM style motor frame with feet. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
