This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge connections. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes ANSI Class 250 flanges and is designed with sealed-for-life ball bearings within the bearing housing.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP TEFC WEG motor in NEMA frame 286. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This system meets EISA compliance standards, with a DOE PEI of 0.94 and an HI Energy Rating of 6. The motor meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
