This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration, which prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing includes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 184 T frame NEMA standard model featuring AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration supports across-the-line starting and carries a DOE PEI of 0.86.
