This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. It operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
The motor provides 50 HP with a premium efficiency rating and a TEFC enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding and a 380-460V three-phase power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.47. The SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
