This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, and includes flush seal line taps. The pump features a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and uses a power supply of 230-460/60/3PH. This motor meets NEMA standard MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The operating ambient temperature is 40°C with counter-clockwise rotation. This model carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
