This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump casing consists of cast iron, while the internal assembly features a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal, constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, handles fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP WEG motor in a 326 NEMA T-frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and has a PEI of 0.92.
