This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F operation. The unit features a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps for seal protection.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 150 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 445 frame, configured for 460V/60Hz/3PH. The electrical setup includes across-the-line starting, premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The pump frame includes greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is configured for CCW rotation with a 40°C ambient temperature rating.
