This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power, features a NEMA 182 T-frame, and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and features counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a PEI of 0.85 and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration.
