This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operating temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 200/60/3 power. The motor utilizes a 256 NEMA T frame and operates at 1750 RPM. It features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This pump model has a PEI of 0.93 and meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards.
