This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump assembly uses a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration is rated for clean water applications up to 300 °F. The pump features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 254T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
