This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration supports operation at temperatures up to 250 °F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are integrated into both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 T frame. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. It features AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
