This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings to facilitate service and maintenance.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 182 T-frame. The motor is configured for 200V/60Hz/3PH power and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor. The system has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
