This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor uses a 215 T frame and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump connects to the motor using a standard Woods coupler and features a bearing frame with greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
