This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are included for filter installation, and the unit incorporates pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disconnecting system piping.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure. The motor is built on a 182 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit features a top center line discharge configuration and operates with a PEI value of 0.84. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature operation.
