This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
